We’re excited to announce the launch of Would I Lie?? – The New Bluffing Game, now available to play on the Gig Game Hub.

This new game transforms the traditional trivia night into a fast-paced social deception experience where knowledge, confidence, and creativity all matter. In Would I Lie??, the right answer earns points - but the best lies can earn even more.

A Trivia Game Where Everyone Might Be Lying

Unlike traditional trivia games where players simply choose answers, Would I Lie?? introduces a new bluff mechanic.

Players can submit their own believable fake answers that get mixed into the question. Other teams then try to determine which answer is correct.

If someone falls for your bluff…

You steal their points.

This turns every round into a mix of trivia knowledge, strategic thinking, and creative deception. Players must decide whether to trust the hosts, trust the answers they see, or trust their instincts.

Hosted by AI Personalities

Guiding the chaos are the show’s two AI hosts:

Barney Bartflast – a dramatic showman who thrives on mischief.

Sally Sharp – the skeptical analyst who insists she’s the voice of reason.

The hosts don’t just read questions - they react to player choices, comment on suspicious answers, and sometimes even mislead the room. Their narration adapts to player performance, deception success, and audience reactions in real time.

The result feels less like a quiz and more like a live game show where anything can happen.

Instant Play – No Apps Required

One of the biggest advantages of the Gig Game platform is how easy it is to start playing.

Hosts simply launch the game from their browser, display the host screen on a TV or projector, and players join instantly by scanning a QR code with their phones. No downloads or complicated setup required.

This makes Would I Lie?? perfect for:

  • Trivia nights at bars
  • Corporate team-building events
  • Parties and game nights
  • Streaming or hybrid events
  • Competitive friend groups

Every round sparks debates, accusations, and some surprisingly convincing lies.

Weekly Episode Releases

To keep the experience fresh, the game is being released in weekly play packs, each containing about 150 questions and a light narrative theme.

The first pack has just launched:

Episode 1 – The Reboot

Barney and Sally are back after months stuck in a questionable basement studio. Now they’ve been given one last chance by “The Big Office Upstairs” to prove their show deserves to exist.

No pressure.

Just their ratings, reputation, and possibly their microphones on the line.

This first episode introduces the new bluffing mechanic and sets the stage for future episodes where the hosts - and the players - will try to outwit each other.

A New Direction for Trivia Nights

Would I Lie?? represents a new evolution of the Gig Game trivia engine. By combining player-generated bluffs, real-time AI hosts, and interactive mobile gameplay, the game turns ordinary trivia into a social experience where the biggest laughs often come from the most convincing lies.

Because when everyone in the room might be lying…

The real challenge is deciding who to trust.
